We organise several outings through out the year – here on the Island we have been to places such as the Roman Villa and Whippingham Church and on the Mainland we have had day trips to Beaulieu, Longleat Wildlife and Safari Park and Arundel Castle.
We also offer our club members and their carers the opportunity to have a mini breaks either in the Spring time or Christmas. We find suitable hotels that can accommodate our specific requirements and coach travel is arranged from and back to the Island. Our trips have included visits to Bournemouth, Wales, Cornwall and Weymouth. We also love our Tinsel and Turkey breaks around Christmas.
These trips allow members and their carers to be in a controlled, safe and fun environment, which they may have not achieved by themselves.
* Unfortunately, there are no coaches on the Island that contain a lift that can accommodate anyone who are restricted solely to their wheelchair.
The club fund raise throughout the year at events and supermarkets across the Island to support events likes these.

We have also received support from Wight Aid who had very kindly donated £1,200 to help fund one of our day trips to the mainland.
